Apparently it’s 100 days now until Christmas. So far I’ve been told this on social media, on the radio and on the TV… and now I’m sharing the news here! I’m never sure how I feel when I hear this each year. Surely it’s too early to even think about Christmas, let alone mention it; we were enjoying wild river swimming and BBQs in the sunshine just yesterday! But at the same time, as a candle maker who’s majority of sales come in autumn, winter and especially around Christmas, I already feel as if I’m behind and really should have been thinking about the festive season in Spring! Today I’m busy taking photos of Christmas scented candles to get up on my website ready for the early birds to purchase, my house is starting to be filled with the warming scents of cinnamon, clove and sweet orange and very soon I’ll be hunting through the decorations in the loft on the hunt for photo props, all while hoping that the sun comes back and we can enjoy another week or two of sunshine before we truly start thinking about winter.
